Strange key on my new keyboard? (pic)

Very odd, does not seem to do anything. I don't think I have had a keyboard with one of these on it before...

The good news is that Unicomp are doing the IBM style buckling string (noisy) keyboards with USB interface at last, albeit only the black ones. Actually, I think this one is slightly quieter than before.

Anyway, I have a nice laser that should be able to make short work of that strange new key... Or maybe there is a 3D model of the keytops somewhere on the internet and the use of a 3D printer could make me a new one. I'll have to play.

    I'm impressed you've managed to avoid them for so long; I honestly can't remember the last time I had a keyboard free of such keys...

    I have no idea what the logo means, but that is the "Super" key isn't it? Lots of handy Compiz shortcuts using Sup+key...

    This key on my keyboard lets out an enormous klaxon sound which makes for an excellent stress reliever in the office. :-)

    I originally intended it to be the "Sad Trombone" but the klaxon sample was better.

    Luckily I rarely hit it by accident.

    We use that key to get our APL Characters, gives us a whole extra keyboard layer, it's quite useful :)
