PS I promise not to take AAISP to ADR!

Yes, we are getting support tickets saying this.

One says "PS I promise not to take AAISP to ADR!"
And another says "PS I promise not to use ADR if you can't find anything :-)"

I don't know what to say - thank you!

I am getting all emotional that I have such nice customers :-)

I think I owe a few pints at the next AAISPISSUP

  1. speaking of, have you set a date/location for that, yet? I heard you now have an even bigger office - should be big enough to fit a few barrels in :-)

  2. Thats not a bad idea - we have a good size training room which can be cleared (and has been on several occasions) for a piss up...

If I build it, will they come?

The orc would be in attendance, obviously.

    May have to check insurance.

  3. It's not all roses Adrian.

I am moving all my lines from AAISP to BT because they fuck up so often and so bad I will be a bloody ADR millionaire before you can blink.

    Thanks and SLFATF

  4. I vote for the next AAISPISSUP at Bletchley Park, but that's only because it's just down the train line from me :)

  5. Set a date and location I can attend, and I'll volunteer to run a PGP keysigning again...

  6. We should do our 15th Anniversary - 1st April. But that is a Sunday... Maybe 31st March.

  7. That'd be worth going to.. if only to find out who I've been winding up over IRC for so long...

  9. Ditto! - Bring back the wiki that was in the topic in #A&A and we can all sign up. Bletchley Park sounds good :)

    1. Happy to facilitate the Bletchley Park idea. Our offices are at the site and in any case I owe a couple of AA staffers a beer or two for finally getting BTW/OpenReach to resolve an over year long intermittent REIN issue affecting my home broadband line. Drop me a note if you are interested RevK.

  10. In July for a 4 year anniversary?

http://aaispissup.wikidot.com/ is still up amazingly, and I still have my nametag from the last one :)

  11. In case it's not been seen before, assuming you can agree a venue (your offices, perhaps), http://doodle.com/ is useful for getting agreement on a date. Create an event there, circulate it around key attendees, choose a date, then publish it.

    1. My thoughts initially would be our offices - primarily for selfish reasons. So maybe we need to use one of those event sites, like doodle.com.

I was thinking that 15 years of A&A, i.e. the last day of our 15th year, 31st March, would be a good date.

I do like the ideal of Bletchley, but perhaps next time.

Fencing

Bit of fun... We usually put up some Christmas lights on the house - some fairy lights on the metal fencing at the front, but a pain as mean...
