A while ago (GDPR day) I stopped getting moderation emails for comments.
Eventually after changing the setting to a totally different email address, and getting a confirmation email with a link, I started getting them again, yay.
However, it seems to have broken again, and I am not longer getting them - so loads of comments have only just been posted.
I'll try changing email again - thanks GDPR - this is the sort of hassle we wanted, and I still get loads of spam about which I can do bugger all.

Why don't you setup a Wordpress blog on your own kit? Then just re-direct this to that.

DeleteI emailed for the trial and the reply said AA are probably only doing 160/30 to start with. Given the emphasis the status page makes about increased upload being the thing of value and above 80mbps download makes little difference, to then offer potentially double download and adding only 50% to upload is in complete contradiction to those statements. Given I already get 79.6/19.9 from VDSL I'm having to think whether increasing upload to 30mbps is worth the hassle of having to be in for a pointless engineer visit, I can change a faceplate and PPPOE modem myself and the 110m line to the cabinet performs well already. I'm also unsure whether I want to pay £10 a month for such a small speed increase.

DeleteBizarrely, having just looked, my grandfather can get FTTP (on his mile long 9 Mbps ADSL line, no FTTC, no TT backhaul), but it's FTTP-on-demand only for my home and office lines. Quite strange to see underserved rural lines leap-frog urban ones...
